E-mail Forwarding in Shared Web Hosting
If you have a shared web hosting plan with us and you set up an email address in your account, you will be able to forward it with only a couple of clicks to another address of your choosing. The option can be enabled whenever you set up a new mailbox or any time afterwards and disabled just as quickly any time you change your mind. This can be done with the Hepsia Hosting Control Panel in which you will manage your account. You'll have the option to choose whether a copy of the incoming e-mails will remain on our servers or not. The advantage of this feature is basically that you will always have a copy on your server if something happens with the other email address or if perhaps it's not active for some reason at the time an e-mail is forwarded. If the option is not active, an e-mail will be received, forwarded and removed from our system regardless of whether the remote email address is working or not, so it generally is a wise decision to have it active just to be prepared.
E-mail Forwarding in Semi-dedicated Hosting
If you have a semi-dedicated server from us, it will take you a couple of mouse clicks in the Email Manager area of your Hepsia Hosting Control Panel to forward any of the e-mails configured on our server to a third-party address. In the exact same section you will also be able to see how many of your mailboxes are forwarded and where the inbound emails are sent. It is possible to activate or disable a forwarding account whenever you want and throughout the process you may as well choose if a backup of the messages needs to be maintained on our servers or not. Although this feature is not a requirement, it is extremely practical as you will have a backup copy of the emails on our end in the event that anything happens with the third-party email address.
